Assistant Accountant

Role overview:
DaVita UK is looking for an Assistant Accountant to support our finance function and oversee purchase ledger. Provide high-quality support service to Managers and Directors. The role is office based in Colliers Wood (SW19 2PX).
Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Purchase Ledger
  • Balance sheet reconciliation (Stock, Prepayment, Creditors, Bank)
  • Period end AP ledger close and post accruals journals (Unauthorised/Late invoices, Stock)
  • Updating of cash flow and monitoring cash position
  • Calculation of prepayments and posting journals
  • Intercompany account reconciliation
  • Daily cash book reconciliation and month end bank reconciliations
  • Credit card Analyse and post monthly credit card expenditure on Sage
  • Direct debit allocation
  • Petty Cash reconciliation ad post on Sage
  • Assist the finance team and management with other ad hoc duties as needed
Person Specification:
  • Part qualification (ACCA/CIMA) with a previous experience in purchase ledger and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of using Sage 200
  • Should be well-versed in MS office especially in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills
  • Good analytical skills
