Salisbury is a cathedral city in Wiltshire. In addition to its interesting history and architecture, unique shops, art galleries and the theatre, the Salisbury Playhouse, are found in the city centre. The city is famous as the inspiration for several of John Constable’s paintings.
The rivers which run through the city have been redirected and landscaped to provide public gardens which are very popular in summer. To the north of Salisbury can be found the historic stone circle Stonehenge, and Salisbury Plain, an area extensively used by the military for training. Salisbury race course lies to the southwest of the city.
The dialysis unit is one of our new units and is situated within the Salisbury District Hospital.
