Training & Development

Many training and development opportunities are available within Renal Services to develop dialysis skills and expertise. For nurses new to caring for patients with renal disease, we offer structured teaching and learning, using practical competencies and e-learning modules supported by experienced preceptors and mentors.

To further develop renal expertise, we also sponsor and support nursing staff to study specialist degree and post graduate level renal modules.

To support career progression and continuing professional development (CPD), we also offer the opportunity to study mentorship diplomas and modules in leadership and management as well as acute care. In addition to this, we also access specialist webinars and promote attendance to regional, national and international conferences.

Our aim is to produce a renal specialist nurse, who is an expert in dialysis care and who always makes the patient the centre of their practice.

Team Building

At Renal Services, we aim to make every one of our employees a valued member of our renal care dialysis team by providing them with practical and professional support, new educational opportunities and advanced professional training.
